" Smart loan for smart people"

Purpose
Businesses already engaged in or in the process of getting engaged in agriculture, trading, service and manufacturing activities and requiring the total credit facility (funded) from NPR 500,000.00 (Nepali Rupees Five Hundred Thousand only) up to NPR 10,000,000.00 (Nepali Rupees Ten Million only) shall be treated as Smart Business Loan (SBL). This loan is for small & medium enterprises (SME) only.

Term Loan
Investment in fixed assets such as construction, plant and machinery, equipment, vehicle etc. including project financing.

Working Capital (Overdraft/Short Term Loan/Demand Loan)
Assist enterprises/entrepreneurs to meet their working capital requirements.

Non-fund based facilities such as Bank Guarantees:
(Bid Bond/Performance Bond/Advance Payment Guarantee)

Limit: -
  • Funded Limit: Minimum- NPR 0.5 Million and Maximum- NPR 10 Million
  • Non-Funded Limit : Maximum- NPR 10 Million.

Rate of interest:
  • NPR 5 Lakhs to NPR 25 Lakh : 15.50% p.a.
  • Above NPR 25 Lakhs to 50 Lakh : 16.00% p.a.
  • Above NPR 50 Lakhs to Crore : 16.50% p.a.
(Rate of interest is subject to change from time to time)

Loan processing period:
  • Decision will be provided within maximum of three working days after submission of all the required documents.

Collateral security:
  • 100% of distress value of land or land & building

Tenure:
  • Term loan: maximum 5 years payable on EMI.
  • Overdraft: 1 year, Renewal yearly subject to satisfactory performance. Interest is payable on monthly basis.
